Demanding that Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy should reveal whether he is trying to re-join the Congress for contracts or for the sake of the party, TPCC Campaign Committee Chairman Madhu Yashki Goud asked the party to be careful about leaders who are trying to re-join.
He said that the party must take a final decision only after discussing with local leaders, otherwise, leaders who worked hard will suffer injustice.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, Madhu said that it is good for the party if YSRTP President YS Sharmila joins the Congress as Sharmila belongs to the Congress family. He said that there is a need to watch the conspiracies of the BRS and the BJP.
He asked the BJP-led Centre to explain why it is not arresting BRS MLC Kalvkakuntla Kavitha although her name was mentioned in connection with the Delhi liquor scam. What is the secret behind the ED arresting everyone except Kavitha, he asked.
Madhu said that the party has to give priority to BCs as only then can the party come to power. He said that the induction of Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy will help the Congress. However, he said that the party should not think that it will win only if leaders join the Congress, he added.
