Must read

Former minister G Jagadish Reddy has condemned the Congress activists attacking former minister and BRS MLA T Harish Rao’s camp office in Siddipet on Friday midnight. He described the incidents as despicable and suspected it to be the handiwork of the Congress goons. He appealed to the farmers in villages to come together and protest against the Congress government.
Addressing a media conference here on Saturday, he said that the BRS leaders cannot be cowed down by such threats and quoted the instances of driving away many demons.
He alleged that the Congress completely duped the farmers on waiving crop loans. To divert public attention from the issue, the Congress could have engineered the attacks on Harish Rao’s camp office, he said.  The Congress cheated the farmers on the issue, he said. First the Congress quoted that Rs 40,000 crore needed to implement the loan waiver, but  the subsequent Cabinet meeting put the  total quantum of the loans to be waived at Rs 31,000 crore. Subsequently, the government corrected the fiture to be Rs 27000 crore and it could waive up to Rs 17000 crore only.
He alleged that some farmers did not get loan waver benefit. As farmers’ protests intensified, the Congress leaders have been using diversionary tactics. He described Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s remarks on BRS merger with the BJP was part of the diversionary tactics. In fact, Revanth Reddy has a secret understanding with the BJP.
Revanth Reddy was trying to provoke violence in Telangana, he apprehended.
The Congress government has duped the farmers as far as loan waiver is concerned. He appealed to the farmers to open
The loan waiver effected by the Congress amounts to completely  duping the farmers, he said, exhorting the farmers to open their eyes to the injustice meted out to them.
