Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today hinted at going for early assembly elections in his state.
Addressing a meeting, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister stated that he would reveal the party’s manifesto in February and that the elections would be in March.
However, during a cabinet meeting in June, Jagan had ruled out early elections to the assembly.
Now, it appears, Jagan is confident about winning another term, going by the success of his welfare schemes in the state. Opposition party head Chandrababu Naidu’s legal trouble too could be one of the reasons for this announcement.
