Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy extended a hearty welcome to State Governor-designate Justice (Retd.) S Abdul Nazeer at the ceremonial reception organised in his honour at the Gannavaram International Airport here on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy presented a bouquet and shawl to Justice (Retd.) S Abdul Nazeer and welcomed the Governor-designate and his family members, on their arrival at the airport from Delhi. The Chief Minister introduced the dignitaries who attended the ceremonial reception to the Governor-designate.
Moshen Raju, Chairman, AP Legislative Council, Housing Minister Jogi Ramesh, RM Basha, RTI Chief Commissioner, Chief Secretary Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, DGP K Rajendranath Reddy, Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, MD, APSRTC, Vijayawada Commissioner of Police Kanti Rana Tata, Vijayawada city Mayor Bhagya Lakshmi, Chairperson, MLAs, Zilla Parishad, Collector, Superintendent of Police, Krishna district, were among those who were present on the occasion.
Later, Justice (Retd.) S Abdul Nazeer and his family members were extended a warm welcome on their arrival at Raj Bhavan by Anil Kumar Singhal, Principal Secretary to Governor, PS Suryaprakash, Joint Secretary and other officers.
