Jagan’s good governance brought investments, says Karumuri

Minister for Civil Supplies Karumuri Venkata Nageswara Rao has said that the investors have queued up to invest in Andhra Pradesh during the 2-Day Global Investors Summit 2023 only with the encouraging industrial policies in the State and the able governance led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Speaking to media persons on Sunday, the Minister said that everyone witnessed how investors came forward to invest in AP during the two-day GIS 2023 that concluded in Visakhapatnam on Saturday.

The Minister said that Andhra Pradesh has the second longest coastline in the country and the chief minister’s aim to develop the coast in the state was noticed by the investors who started pouring into the state with investments. He said that the suitable conditions prevailing in the state for investors have attracted investors from Abroad and India in large numbers.

The Minister said that during the two-day GIS 2023, a woofing Rs 13 lakh crore investments poured in and MoUs were signed.

He criticized the TDP chief Chandrababu for organising investors’ summit thrice during the TDP regime and portraying the employees of NTR Trust and Heritage as investors by dressing them in Suits and Coats deceiving the people of Andhra Pradesh by signing false and fake MoUs.

The Minister stated that the YSRCP government roped in big investors like Ambani, Adani, Mittal, JSW, GMR, and other industrial giants from abroad and within the country personally for the GIS 2023 and signed MoUs which are real and will be transformed into investment very soon. The chief minister was paying the way for the future generation of the state with quality education and employment opportunities.

Under the leadership of chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the AP government has signed a total of 352 MoUs worth Rs 13,05,663 lakh crore of which 260 MoUs are signed on Day 2 of GIS in more than 13 sectors worth Rs 1.17 lakh crore. On Day 1 of GIS, the State government signed 92 MoUs worth Rs 11,87,756 lakh crore.
