Former PCC president Ponnala Laxmaiah said that he is going to contest the Assembly elections and sought the support of leaders to get a ticket at the Pradesh Election Committee (PEC) meeting held at the Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday.
However, TPCC Working President T. Jagga Reddy said that it is not good for the party that a leader who was PCC president is asking for a ticket. Whoever may be the PCC president he has to give a ticket to the person who had been the PCC president, Jagga Reddy said. However, Revanth asked Jagga Reddy to give his opinion via a letter.
Senior leader V. Hanumantha Rao said the party would not allocate tickets to BCs in Hyderabad Lok Sabha limits.
