Jeevan challenges Kavitha for debate

Declaring that the TRS government is the reason for the suicides of sarpanches in Telangana, the lone Congress MLC, T. Jeevan Reddy, challenged TRS MLC Kavitha to a debate on the corruption that took place in the Mission Bhagiratha scheme instead of simply declaring that the TRS government is providing drinking water through Mission Bhagiratha.

Jeevan said that sarpanches are now developing villages with their own funds. They are committing suicide due to debts as the government is not sanctioning their bills, he pointed out.

Jeevan said the TRS government is not sanctioning bills even though TRS leaders are taking up development projects in villages. He asked MLC Kavitha to make her father Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao sanction the bills of gram panchayats.

Asking Kavitha to explain whether the TRS was friendly with the Centre or not, Jeevan said the government lost a chance to ask Prime Minister Modi to sanction funds due to the State as Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao kept away from attending the Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL) function.
