Jogi Ramesh raps Naidu’s secretive foreign tour

Must read

Minister Jogi Ramesh has strongly criticized TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu for keeping details of his recent foreign trip a secret. The minister questioned Naidu’s lack of transparency regarding his whereabouts despite repeated inquiries.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, Minister Ramesh highlighted that Naidu’s foreign tour remains a mystery to the people of the state. He pointed out that while there were reports of Naidu travelling from Hyderabad to Dubai, subsequent details of his journey are unknown. Media supporting TDP suggested Naidu went to America for medical treatment, but TDP leaders in the US denied his presence there.
The minister questioned the reason behind Naidu’s secretive trip, asking, “Where did you go?”
Minister Ramesh speculated whether the purpose of Naidu’s visit was to park stolen money or invest abroad, emphasizing the need for transparency. He criticised Naidu for not sharing any photographs from the trip, which is uncharacteristic given Naidu’s usual penchant for publicity. Ramesh demanded that Naidu disclose the details of his ten-day absence to the public, stressing that as the leader of the opposition, people have a right to know about his activities.
He contrasted this with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s planned trip to London, for which the itinerary was publicly shared. Ramesh called for an explanation of Naidu’s secretive tour.
Additionally, Minister Ramesh condemned the TDP leaders for grandly welcoming the allegedly corrupt IPS officer AB Venkateswara Rao, including Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao. He predicted that the exit polls to be announced on Saturday would be a significant setback for TDP, leading to the party’s collapse after the results on June 4. Ramesh urged all ranks of YSRCP to prepare for celebrations and invited the people of the state to attend CM Jagan Mohan Reddy’s swearing-in ceremony on June 9 in Visakhapatnam.
