Justice Seshasai’s services commendable: AP HC CJ

AP High Court Chief Justice Dheeraj Singh Thakur praised the services rendered by Justice AV Seshasai. Justice Seshasai, who served as a judge in AP High Court retired on Friday and a grand farewell ceremony was organised in the first court hall on the occasion.
Speaking at the farewell function, Justice Dheeraj Singh Thakur, said that Justice Seshasai was promoted as a Judge in 2014. He said that Seshasai had disposed of about 23,000 cases in his career and worked in almost all departments of the judiciary. The Chief Justice praised the services of Seshasai as the Executive Vice Chairman of AP Legal Services Authority and for the skill training that has been provided to the staff of various national banks. He also said that training programmes were organised in Visakhapatnam and Rajamahendravaram Central jails. He said that Justice Seshasai had worked hard to provide legal awareness to students in various law colleges and universities.
Justice AV Seshasai thanked the former Chief Justices, judges, advocates, his fellow officers and staff, including the current Chief Justice, who had helped him throughout his career as a judge.
Public Prosecutor Y Nagireddy, High Court Bar Association president K Chidambaram, AP High Court Bar Council president Dwarakanath Reddy, State Law Secretary Satya Prabhakar Rao, High Court Registrar General Y Lakshmana Rao, other registrars, senior advocates, members of Bar Association, Bar Council, representatives of AP Legal Services Authority, AP Judicial Academy and others participated in the farewell programme.
