However, the series is also said to be released in Telugu, whose trailer was released by actress Kajal Aggarwal on Sunday.
She met the actor, with whom she is also doing a project called Satyabhama, and launched the trailer through her social media handles. The series features Naveen Chandra in the lead role, with Sunaina, Kanna Ravi, Srikrishna Dayal, Malini Jeevaratnam, and Kumar Vale in key roles.
The series, which is set in the creepy Thien Kadu forest, centers on a succession of unexplained killings in which human bodies are discovered intertwined with maggot nests, which resemble animal carcasses. The villagers blame Ratchi, a legendary creature thought to roam the woodland, for these murders. Inspector Rishi, who recently moved to the town, takes on the task of figuring out the real reason behind the killings when the case is subsequently turned over to the CB CID for investigation. The people are skeptical, but Rishi chooses to conduct his research using a scientific method.
