Kakinada dist receives Rs 36.33 cr under Rythu Bharosa

Kakinada district has received Rs 36.33 crore under the YSR Rythu Bharosa and PM Kishan.
Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy released Rs 1294.34 crore towards the third tranche of ‘YSR Rythu Bharosa–PM Kisan’ for the fifth year and interest subvention for the fourth year in a row under ‘YSR Sunna Vaddi Panta Runalu’ from his camp office on Wednesday.
As many as 1,80,609 farmers in Kakinada district were being disbursed Rs 36.33 crore under the ‘YSR Rythu Bharosa–PM Kisan’ schemes. Collector Krithika Shukla said that the amount would be credited into the accounts of farmers.
A programme was organized on the occasion of releasing funds under the YSR Rythu Bharosa. The Collector released a replica of the cheque on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Collector Kritika Shukla said that under the YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan scheme, 1,80,434 farmers had been provided input subsidy to the tune of Rs 1085.50 crore during the last four and a half years from 2019.
She said that for the 5th consecutive year, the third installment of Rs 36.33 crore financial assistance was being disbursed to the farmers. Similarly, 34,270 farmers who took loans and paid them on time in 2021-22 Rabi and 2022 Kharif, would get Rs 5.33 crore. The money would be credited to their bank accounts.
Collector Kritika Shukla said that the state government is working with great commitment towards the welfare of the farmers and that the farmers should take advantage of the facilities and welfare schemes provided by the state government. District Agriculture officer BVSC Hari, district horticulture Officer N Mallikharjun Rao and APMIP PD GVVV Prasad Rao were among those who were present.
Meanwhile, West Godavari district received Rs 25.42 crore under the YSR Rythu Bharosa–PM Kisan’. Collector Sumit Kumar Gandhi said that 1,27,114 farmers were being disbursed Rs 25.42 crore under Rythu Bharosa and 29,270 farmers being disbursed Rs 5.23 crore  under zero interest crop loans.
The Collector called upon the beneficiaries to utilize the money properly. The Collector released a replica of the cheque on the occasion. District Agriculture advisory board chairman K Srinivasa Rao and a host of officials were present.
