In another interesting development, former MLA Kandru Kamala entered the scene stating that she is in the race for the YSRCP ticket to contest from the Mangalagiri Assembly constituency.
Talking to the media in the wake of the resignation of YSRCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy to the party and MLA post, she said that she vehemently opposes giving tickets to new leaders.
Refusing to comment on Alla Ramakrishna Reddy’s resignation, she said that he quit the party on personal grounds and she did not like to comment on his problems for quitting the party and MLA post. The former MLA said that Ramakrishna Reddy is close to Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and he should have reconsidered his decision before quitting the party.
Alla Ramakrishna Reddy did not maintain good relations with the leaders in the constituency, she blamed and claimed that she had striven hard for the election victory of Alla Ramakrishna Reddy in the 2019 election.
