Karimnagar hottest at 45.6 degrees Celsius: IMD

Hot and humid conditions prevailed over Telangana on Saturday as Hyderabad recorded 43.1 degree Celsius and the Indian Meteorological Department Hyderabad (IMD-H) predicted humid conditions to prevail until May 2. Karimnagar recorded the highest temperature of 45.6 degrees Celsius.
As per the IMD-H on April 27 dry weather prevailed over the state. On April 28, hot and humid conditions are likely to prevail in districts including Adilabad, KomaramBheem Asifabad, Nirmal , Nizamabad, Jagtiyal, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal. On April 28, light to moderate showers are likely to occur in parts of Telangana. On April 29, hot and humid conditions are expected to prevail across the aforementioned district.
On April 30, hot and humid conditions  are expected to prevail in districts including Mancheriyal, Hanamkonda, Rajanna Sirsilla along with the aforementioned districts. Similar conditions are likely to prevail in the state till May 2. Dry weather is expected to prevail on May 3-4. While Karimnagar Recorder the highest maximum temperature (45.6) it was followed by Peddapally, Nalgonda (45.2 ),  Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri and Jagtiyal (45.1), Wanaparthy and Warangal (45) . Nizamabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Rajanna Sirsilla and Mancherial (44.8), Medak, Sangareddy, Kamareddy and Ranga Reddy (43.6).
As per the Telangana State Planning and Development Society (TSDPS) dry weather is expected to prevail across Telangana from Apri 27-30. The Maximum temperature during this period is expected to remain between 40-44 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to remain between 25-28 degrees Areas under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) are likely to experience dry weather from April 27-30. The maximum temperature is expected to remain between 41-43 degrees celsius while the Minimum temperature is expected to remain between 26-29 degrees celsius.
Among areas under the GHMC Chandanagar recorded highest maximum temperature (43.5) followed by Qutubullapur (43.4) Moosapet (43.2) , Begumpet, (43.1), Khairatabad (41.9), Yousufguda (42.9) and Jubilee Hills (42.8) .
