Kavita takes potshots at Govt disbursement of pensions

Must read

MLC K Kavitha on Tuesday visited the house of Ala Venkateswar Reddy, former BRS MLA of Devarakadra, in Anna Sagar village following the death of the brother of the former MLA.
Taking potshots at Congress government at a media conference held here along with former Minister Srinivas Goud and BRS MP Manne Srinivas, she accused the Congress government of keeping mum on distribution of pensions to the aged and other categories of beneficiaries from Jan 1.
Similarly, salaries were disbursed to government employees only in one or two districts so far. There was no sign of releasing RytuBandhu funds into the bank accounts of farmers for Rabi season.
She said that the people were at a loss of comprehension why the government invited applications as part of PrajaPalanaprogramme.
The KCR regime disbursed pensions to over 44 lakh persons. Instead of disbursing pensions to them, the Congress government is inviting fresh applications, she said.
She asked people those who consume less than 200 units a month not to pay power bills as the Congress government declared power up to 200 units is free.
The BRS will always fight with government to get the guarantees, promised by Congress to people, implemented and on behalf of the people to achieve their rights.  Therefore, the BRS activists should always be ready to fight with government. As the BRS is the only party to raise the issue of Telangana on the floor of parliament, she appealed to people to ensure BRS wins Lok Sabha elections with huge majority.

She said that she has had special bond with Mahabubnagar district ever since KCR contested from Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha seat in 2009.  KCR was successful in securing statehood to Telangana when he was the MP of Mahabubnagar, she pointed out.
