BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha had a hand in the Delhi liquor scam and she can be arrested at any time, the BJP’s official spokesperson, Sayyed Jafar Islam, said.
“The sword of arrest is hanging over Kavitha. The BJP does not interfere with the functioning of investigation agencies but its policy is zero tolerance towards corruption,” Jafar said.
Speaking to the media at the BJP state office here on Thursday, he said that the CM, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, has been in power for the last 10 years but everyone is posing questions to the BJP. He said that development schemes have become money-making engines for KCR’s family.
He said that whether it is a land scam or a scam connected to development projects, the BRS government has become a scamster. The BRS government stands for corruption and for the ruling family and for people linked to the family, he said.
Jafar said that scams worth Rs 12 lakh crore took place during the UPA regime and that the BRS is supporting the INDIA alliance. He said that the AIMIM, the BRS and the Congress are having an unholy alliance and are working for their respective dynasties. He said the BJP will expose them in the coming days.
The BJP spokesperson said that KCR came to power promising that he will serve people, but he has been looting the state after coming to power.
He said that the BJP will intensify its fight against KCR’s corruption and his bogus election assurances. The BJP will focus on development and eliminating corruption, he added.
Jafar said that everyone knows about TPCC President Revanth Reddy and that the BJP will make public his secrets soon.
The BJP spokesman said that appeasement, dynastic politics and corruption are harming the country and have to be rooted out. He said that Telangana sees the BJP as the alternative to the BRS and is expecting clean governance.
He also made it clear that the BJP will expose the BRS, the AIMIM and the Congress in coming days.
