KCR hails Somesh’s ‘immense contribution’ to TS model

Must read

After Somesh Kumar was moved to Andhra Pradesh, the former Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh was seen along with Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday during his visit to Chattrapathi Sambajinagar (Aurangabad).

KCR publicly acknowledged his contributions to Telangana. Introducing Somesh KCR said, “Our former Chief Secretary, who worked along with me 24 hours a day in building the Telangana model, Somesh Kumar ji.”

Later, during his speech, KCR asked what the officers in Maharashtra were doing while talking about Rythu Bandhu, grain procurement and Rythu Bima schemes.

“There was a time when I pleaded with our farmers not to end lives. But after the formation of TS state, we worked with determination. Our former Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar is seated in front of you. He was working with me and retired recently. His contributions are immense, especially in ensuring farmers benefitted from our schemes. What happened in Maharashtra? Doesn’t Maharashtra have Chief Secretaries, Secretaries and a Cabinet? why doesn’t it happen here? This is why I coined the slogan ‘Ab ki Baar Kisan Sarkar.”
