Former Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah met BRS Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao at the Pragathi Bhavan on Sunday. He was invited by BRS Working President KT Rama Rao to join the BRS and to meet KCR.
KCR cordially welcomed the Ponnala couple and both leaders spent time talking about the present political situation in the State. BRS Parliamentary Party leader K. Kesava Rao, MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and senior leader Dr Dasoju Sravan were also present.
It was reported that Ponnala will be joining the BRS during a public meeting which would be addressed by KCR in Janagaon on Monday. Ponnala may be offered a Rajya Sabha seat by the BRS.
