KCR predicts YS Jagan’s victory in AP

Must read

Bharat Rashtra Samithi chief and former TG chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has reasons to believe that YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will retain power in the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections.
“No matter who wins in Andhra, we have no problem. We are not related. According to our general information, Jagan is likely to come again,” he told a Telugu news channel. KCR said, “Himachal Pradesh has already fallen after the election. After Karnataka, ‘Modi bomb’ is going to fall in Telangana”.
Answering queries on the talk of BRS trying to topple the Congress government in TG, KCR said: “We are democrats and want the Congress government to stay for five years. Only then will the corruption of the Congressmen be exposed.”
He said that there was no chance for the BRS party to revert to Telangana Rashtra Samithi- its original name. For, the Election Commission would not allow changing of BRS to TRS as the process would need at least a 5-year gap. He said that the survival of his party depended on work, ideology, and attitude but not on symbol. He asserted that the BRS would come to power again.
Indicating that he has not given up his ambitions for playing a role at the national level, he said: “We should participate in national politics. Unfortunately, we lost here…if we had won, we would have rolled in Maharashtra. Modi’s influence is decreasing day by day”, he said.
KCR characterised the Congress’ ‘Six guarantees’ as bogus. He said that if the Congress government failed to fix the damage at Medigadda barrage, he would go there along with people and fix it with public funding.
Reacting to the Delhi liquor scam, KCR said: “One CM and one MLC are not getting bail; such is Modi’s rule. Kavitha is not related to the liquor scam.”
