Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao occupied his chambers in the new secretariat and signed six files on Sunday.
The first file which KCR signed in the new secretariat is on the implementation of Dalit Bandhu Scheme in 2023-24.
The Chief Minister signed the file pertaining to extending Dalit Bandhu benefits to 1,100 beneficiaries each in 118 Assembly constituencies except Huzurabad where the scheme has already been implemented fully.
The second file KCR signed is on the distribution of Podu land title deeds. From May onwards, a district-wise distribution programme will be undertaken and 1,35,000 beneficiaries will be provided title deeds for around 3.9 lakh acres.
The Chief Minister also signed the file regarding the beneficiaries of CMRF funds.
The fourth file signed by KCR is about KCR Nutrition Kit for pregnant women. KCR Nutrition Kits will be distributed in all districts. As the government has decided to distribute 13.08 lakh kits across the state, it will benefit 6.84 lakh pregnant women. The cost of each KCR nutrition kit is Rs 2,000. For this, the government has allocated Rs 277 crore.
KCR also signed the file on regularising contract employees. Orders were issued regularising 5,544 contract employees in all 40 departments.
The sixth file signed by the CM is about the Palamuru Lift Irrigation scheme.
Industries Minister KT Rama Rao signed the file on allotting 2BHK houses to the poor.
Health Minister Harish Rao signed the file on filling up the vacancies of 1,827 staff nurses and to release Rs 157 crore to farmers as compensation for crop losses.
Jagadish Reddy signed a file releasing Rs 958 crore as agricultural power subsidy.
Prashanth Reddy signed a file on reorganising the R&B department.
Niranjan Reddy signed a file providing Rs 76 crore as subsidy for seeds.
Home Minister Mahamood Ali signed a file on the bifurcation of three commissionrates and new police stations.
Srinivas Goud signed a file on releasing funds for the CM’s trophy.
Puvvada Ajay signed a file on expanding the online services of the TSRTC.
Gangula Kamalakar signed a file on rice distribution to Anganwadis and a BC OBC action plan.
Indrakaran Reddy signed a file on Dhoop Deepa Naivedyam in the temples of the twin cities.
Sabita Indra Reddy signed a file on distributing tabs and setting up library corners.
Talasani Srinivas Yadav signed a file on the free distribution of fishes.
Ch. Malla Reddy signed a file on Shrama Shakthi Awards and Koppula on the second phase of the Dalit Bandhu scheme and Errabelli Dayakar on establishing IKP Centres in districts. Satyavathi Rathod signed a file on setting up the Ramji Gond museum.
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao decided to hold a comprehensive review meeting on the Palamuru Lift Irrigation Scheme at 12 am in the CM’s Conference Hall in the new Secretariat on Monday. Drinking water canals originating from Karivena and Uddandapur reservoirs to Narayanpur, Kodangal and Vikarabad will be discussed at the meeting.
District Ministers, MLAs, CM’s Secretary Smita Sabarwal, Irrigation Secretary Rajat Kumar, the Finance Secretary, Irrigation ENC, Chief Engineers etc will attend the review meeting.
