Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s visit to the town and the public meeting seemed to have given a boost to the party cadre. The public meeting, addressed by the Chief Minister witnessed a massive attendance. Not less than 2 lakh people attended the public meeting.
The town was painted pink on the occasion. At every step, the people welcomed the Chief Minister. The people showered flower petals at every step. KCR was given a grand welcome.
The people were also spellbound by the Chief Minister’s address. There were cheers from the crowd when the Chief Minister criticised the opposition parties.
A large number of farmers turned out at the meeting as this was the first meeting to be addressed by the Chief Minister after waiving the crop loans. The farmers, along with their family members, attended the meeting.
As the meeting was successful, the Chief Minister appreciated the elected people’s representatives, particularly Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy, from the district. Braving rains during the last four days, Jagadish Reddy, MLAs and BRS activists worked hard to make arrangements for the meeting.
On either side of the 20-km long road, large flexi banners were t were erected to welcome the Chief Minister.
