Tharun Bhascker, who’s made an indelible mark on the Telugu audience with his films — Pellichoopulu and Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi starts the shoot for his third picture titled Keedaa Cola. “Igo start Chestunna malla. Chooskondi meere. Ati itu ayithey naak thelvad,” wrote Tharun on his Instagram handle as he shared the “shoot begins” picture.
Post the success of Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi, Tharun kept himself creatively busy by penning dialogues for movies like Meeku Maathrame Cheptha, Oke Oka Jeevitham, and Ori Devuda. The young filmmaker has quite a following of his own having made two cult classics and reached the list of A-listers within a short span of time.
In one of his interactions online, the Pellichoopulu director commented that Keedaa Cola is going to be an insane crime comedy. The star cast of the film hasn’t been announced yet. However, the star-studded puja ceremony which was conducted on 23 August raised many eyebrows spurring rumors. The film will be produced by VG Sainma in association with QuickFox and AJ Aaron will be the man behind the camera.
The makers are planning to release the picture in 2023 in five different languages, namely, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada. The fans have already started celebrating online by sharing the good news. Tharun’s last directorial release Pitta Kathalu, which streamed on Netflix in 2021 opened to good reviews. Will the director be able to continue the hit streak? Well! We’ll have to wait for Keeda Cola’s pan-Indian release.
