The Khanapur BRS MLA, Rekha Naik, who attended official programmes in her constituency, has filed an application seeking a Congress ticket on Tuesday at the Gandhi Bhavan.
Rekha Naik’s husband Shyam Naik filed two applications in Gandhi Bhavan. One is Shyam Naik’s own application and the second one is his wife Rekha Naik’s application.
Rekha Naik applied for the Congress ticket from Khanapur and her husband Shyam Naik sought the Asifabad ticket. It may be recalled that the BRS did not give a ticket to her.
The TPCC received 310 applications seeking Congress tickets across the state. On Monday, the party received 220 applications and on Tuesday it received 60 applications.
The people who filed applications on Tuesday are Jupally Krishna Rao, Janga Raghavaa Reddy, Konagala Mahesh and others.
However, it is learnt that TPCC president Revanth Reddy, Nalgonda MP N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and many others are going to file applications on Wednesday seeking tickets.
Wednesday is an auspicious day as it is Saptami and so the party is expecting more ticket applications on Wednesday.
