Earlier slated for release on May 30, Kingdom, the upcoming Vijay Deverakonda starrer, has now been rescheduled for a July 4 release. The makers announced the change due to recent developments in the country that impacted promotional activities. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and produced by Sithara Entertainments, the film will now hit theaters on July 4.
In an official statement, the production team explained, “We explored all possible avenues to maintain the original release date, but the recent unforeseen events and the current atmosphere have made it challenging to proceed with promotions and celebrations.”
The makers expressed their gratitude to producer Dil Raju and actor Nithin for their understanding and support in adjusting the release schedule. Interestingly, Dil Raju’s Thammudu, which was also set for July 4, will now release on a different date, giving Kingdom the coveted slot.
