The newly appointed ministers include TDP MP Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, TDP MP Dr Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar, and BJP MP Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma. Their inclusion is expected to bolster the Cabinet with fresh perspectives and reinforce the regional influence in Andhra Pradesh.
Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu: Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has made history as the youngest-ever Central Union Cabinet Minister. Born into a legacy of public service, he is the son of the late TDP leader and former Central Minister Yerran Naidu.
His educational journey took him from Delhi Public School, RK Puram to Purdue University for his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering, and later to Long Island University for his MBA.
Following the untimely death of his father in 2012, Naidu was propelled into the political arena. At just 26 years old, he contested and won the Lok Sabha seat from Srikakulam in 2014, becoming the second youngest MP in the 16th Lok Sabha. Known for his close association with Nara Chandrababu Naidu, he has been a key player in TDP’s national strategy, especially during critical moments such as Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest.
Ram Mohan Naidu’s extensive involvement in various parliamentary committees, including the Standing Committee on Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Food Processing, highlights his deep understanding of diverse issues. His interests extend beyond politics; he is an avid photographer and sports enthusiast. Following in his father’s footsteps, Naidu now holds the distinction of being the youngest Cabinet Minister in the NDA coalition, symbolizing the dynamic potential of India’s youth in governance.

Born in Burripalem, Guntur district, he excelled academically, securing a high rank in the EAMCET exam and earning his MBBS from Osmania Medical College. Furthering his education in the United States, he completed his postgraduate studies in Internal Medicine at Geisinger Medical Centre, Pennsylvania.
Chandra Sekhar’s career includes a notable tenure as a professor and physician at Johns Hopkins University’s Sinai Hospital. He founded UWorld, an online training platform for medical students, which has since expanded to cover various professional fields. His philanthropic efforts through the Pemmasani Foundation include providing medical facilities for uninsured NRIs, establishing water infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh, and offering scholarships to talented students.
His foray into active politics was encouraged by Nara Chandrababu Naidu, leading to his successful election from the Guntur Parliamentary Constituency in 2024. His induction into the Union Cabinet is seen as a recognition of his public service and dedication to the TDP’s cause.
Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma: Representing the BJP, Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma from Narsapuram brings over three decades of steadfast loyalty to the party. Born in Bhimavaram, his early involvement in student politics with AISF transitioned into a dedicated career with the BJP. His long-standing commitment includes significant roles such as organizing state executive meetings and playing a crucial part in UV Krishnam Raju’s 1999 victory.
Varma’s influence extends across the West Godavari district, where he has been instrumental in various electoral successes and party activities. His emotional reaction to being named the BJP candidate from Narsapuram underscored his dedication to the party.
