The Congress’s Bhongir MP, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, said that there is information that the post of BRS president will be given to BCs. “I hail the BRS if it gives its president post to a BC leader,” he said.
Addressing the media at the Gandhi Bhavan on Monday, Kiran said the BRS is going to appoint a BC leader as its president, and it is the ‘result’ of the Congress’s caste survey.
However, he said that the BRS is conducting its silver jubilee celebrations with the money it looted from the people. He asked the BRS to reveal whether it will celebrate its silver jubilee in the name of the TRS or the BRS.
“Is it not correct that KCR changed the name TRS to BRS to loot the nation? How can KCR conduct silver jubilee celebrations after removing Telangana from his party’s name? KTR must apologise to the people of Telangana for looting them. I doubt whether the TRS is alive now,” he said.
Wondering at BRS leaders chanting the name of former United AP Chief Minister, the late YS Rajashekar Reddy, and the current AP CM N. Chandrababu Naidu, he asked BRS to explain why the people should make KCR Chief Minister again.
He said that BRS Working President KT Rama Rao has been distorting history by comparing KCR to Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela.
