BJP State unit president and Union Minister for Tourism G Kishan Reddy on Friday appealed to the people to lend their support to ensure that Narendra Modi becomes Prime Minister for the straight third term.
Addressing a gathering as part of Vijay Sankalp Yatra in Kagaznagar on Friday, Kishan Reddy said that Modi was striving to make India a global leader. He said that Telangana would be able to witness growth if BJP came to power at the Centre again.
The Union Minister further said that the Union government was spending Rs 20,000 per acre for providing fertilizers. The Centre was committed to the welfare of farmers and women. Several innovative schemes were implemented during the last 10 years for the welfare of all sections of people.
Local MLA P Harish Babu promised that the party’s eight legislators would strive to protect the interests of the people. He said the party MLAs would expose the misdeeds, if any, of the government on the floor of the Assembly.
