Kishan Reddy to supervise developmental works of railway station today

The development work of Secunderabad railway station, which has been ambitiously undertaken by the Central government with Rs 715 crore, is progressing very fast. Union Minister Kishan Reddy is taking a special initiative to complete the development works quickly. From time to time, reviews are conducted with South Central Railway GM and other officials.
While the construction work of the station has been planned in three phases, the first phase is going on at a fast pace. As part of this, Union Minister Kishan Reddy will visit Secunderabad railway station on Wednesday at 11 am. He will review the progress of work along with South Central Railway GM Anil Kumar Jain and other senior officials.
The Central government had decided to develop the Secunderabad railway station, which is the centre of the South Central Railway, on the level of an airport with international standards and Rs 715 crore has been allocated for this purpose. Along with the modernisation of the railway station, it was decided to take up other development programmes such as widening of roads on all sides of the station.
