Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has assured the people of the town that he will strive for development of all wards in the municipality.
He attended a function at the house of a Congress worker in Asat Nagar of 25th ward on Monday.
On the occasion, people of the area highlighted their problems to the Minister and sought his intervention to resolve them.
Once the elections are over, the underground drainage development works would be implemented in the town and Cement Concrete roads would be developed in all colonies.
Similarly, all those who have the house site would be sanctioned Rs 5 lakh to enable them to build a house, he said, adding that he would strive for comprehensive development of Nalgonda town.
He asked the people to bring their problems to the notice of the municipal chairman and councillors.
Nalgonda Congress Committee president G Mohan Reddy, Municipal chairman Burri Srinivas Reddy, Vice-chairman Abbagoni Ramesh goud, market committee chairman Jukuri Ramesh, several councillors, Congress leaders and activists were present.
