KTR asks Priyanka to apologise for delaying Telangana State

Must read

BRS Working President KT Ramarao said that AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi who is coming to Hyderabad on Monday to attend the Yuva Sangarshana Sabha should apologise to the people of Telangana as the Congress delayed granting a Telangana State forcing Telangana Martyrs to sacrifice their lives for water, funds and jobs.

Responding to Priyanka’s Telangana visit on Monday, KTR said that the BRS government has provided 2.2 lakh government jobs and 22 lakh jobs in the private sector under Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s leadership.

No one will remain unemployed if national parties like the Congress and the BJP worked like the BRS, KTR said and asked Priyanka to reveal what the Congress had done to create jobs when it was in power in the State.

KTR said that Telangana, which was once a crisis-riddled place under Congress’ rule for decades, has become number one in the nation under KCR’s nine-year rule.

He said that Priyanka must remember that the daughters of Telangana faced a lot of problems fetching drinking water during Congress rule as they had to walk several km.

He said Priyanka must know that the sacrifices of hundreds of Telangana’s sons would not have occurred if the Congress had given TS in 2004 as promised in its common minimum programme.

KTR also asked Priyanka to clarify whether the Congress’ decision to give the TPCC Chief’s post to a person who described Sonia Gandhi as the ‘Goddess of Sacrifices’ is an act of innocence or an act of suicide.

Describing Priyanka as a political tourist, KTR said that he hopes that she would learn during her trip to Hyderabad that the people of Telangana had preserved their future in the hands of KCR, who achieved their long-pending dream of a separate Telangana State.

Now the question is whether Priyanka would respond to KTR’s comments or not during her speech at the public meeting.
