‘KTR harming interests of Telangana’

Former Shadnagar MLA member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Politburo, has criticised former minister KT Rama Rao  for allegedly harming the Telangana region through selfish political maneuvers.
Speaking at the TDP Flag Festival programme on Tuesday, Narsimhulu addressed villagers in Kondannaguda, condemning the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party. He accused the BRS of gaining political advantage by dividing the regions and criticised KTR for fostering a culture of unethical political practices.
Narsimhulu expressed his dismay over the current state of politics, claiming it become corrupt and overly reliant on influence of money. He lambasted the BRS for encouraging party-switching and undermining the integrity of political opposition. He also took aim at KTR’s recent comments regarding MLAs who switch parties, likening them to a theatrical performance.
Highlighting past instances, Narsimhulu questioned the fate of TDP MLAs who had previously joined the BRS. He urged the public to hold accountable those parties that promote defection under the guise of development.
Reflecting on the achievements of the TDP during the era of united Andhra Pradesh, Narsimhulu credited the party with numerous welfare initiatives. He highlighted efforts such as women’s self-employment programs, the Deepam scheme, youth employment initiatives, housing construction, and livestock support. He also praised the TDP’s efforts in water conservation, citing collaborations with notable figures like sociologist Anna Hazare..
The event saw participation from prominent local leaders, including ex-MPP Challa Venkateswara Reddy and Town President Gandham Anand, Anantaiah, among others.
