The Minister appeals to people to send BJP MP Bandi Sanjay home and elect BRS leader B Vinod Kumar from Karimnagar
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who vowed to bring black money back from foreign banks, drew a blank, said Minister for Information Technology K T Rama Rao on Friday.
Speaking at a public meeting, aseervada saba, at RTC Depot grounds, Rama Rao said, “When Modiji became Prime Minister, cooking gas cylinder was Rs 400 and today it went
up to Rs 1,200.
He also came down heavily on BJP Lok Sabha member Bandi Sanjay Kumar for “lacking foresight.” The MP always was indulging in communal politics. He advocated that all mosques be dug up and such utterances were aimed at deriving political mileage. “Do we need such an MP?” He expressed the opinion that if the BRS candidate was elected from the Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency, he would have secured IIIT and ensured developmental projects. He stressed the need to send Bandi Sanjay Kumar home and elect B Vinod Kumar in the next elections with a bumper majority.
BRS stands for “Bharat Rashtra Samithi” also, said Minister for Information Technology K T Rama Rao, to hammer his point home that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government espoused the cause of farmers.
The Minister participated in several developmental programmes in the Husnabad constituency.
Rama Rao said that the Husnabad constituency had been ravaged by drought in the past.
Now, the constituency has abundant water. In the new State of Telangana under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, several irrigation projects were constructed.

Lift Irrigation Project and execution of ideas and programme, the State has been flourishing now, he said. He referred to projects like Konda Pochamma Reservoir, Mid-Manair and Ranganayaka Sagar projects. “KCR strived with single-minded determination and succeeded in completed the irrigation projects.
The farmers used to stage projects because of frequent power cuts till 2014. Now, the government ensure round-the-clock power to farmers free of cost, he said.
Abundant drinking water was being supplied daily in Tandas, too. The women no long trekked long distances to fetch a pot of potable water, he said.
Praising Husnabad MLA V Satish Kumar for his success in bringing 1.6 lakh acres under irrigation in the constituency, Rama Rao appealed to people to give the legislator at least one lakh votes majority in the next elections. He promised
to grant funds for the mini stadium in Husnabad and Rs 25 crore for development activities in the constituency.
