MCET conducts free Kanti Velugu camp, 200 students benefited

Methodist College of Engineering and Technology (MCET), Hyderabad, in association with the Universal Health Care (UHC) of the Government of Telangana has organised a free eye camp called Kanti Velugu on Friday. The programme was coordinated by the Department of MBA and National Service Scheme of the MCET.

The programme was a huge success with over 200 students, staff and ministerial employees of MCET benefiting from the eye camp. The camp was aimed to provide free eye care services to those in need of eye-related issues and create awareness about the importance of eye health.

Dr Prabhu G Benakop, Principal of MCET, praised the efforts of the MBA department and NSS cell for conducting the programme.

During the camp, faculty, students and ministerial employees of MCET received free eye glasses and expressed their gratitude for the initiative taken by the college. The event was successful in creating awareness about eye health and encouraging people to take care of their eyes.

The resounding success of the Kanti Velugu eye camp is a clear reflection of the unwavering dedication and relentless efforts of the organisers and volunteers who worked tirelessly to bring this event to fruition. It is indeed heartening to see the college take up initiatives that contribute towards the betterment of society, and it is hoped that more such noble endeavours are taken up in the future, which can positively impact the lives of people and the society.
