BRS Working President KT Rama Rao travelled in an auto-rickshaw from Yusufguda to Telangana Bhavan in Jubilee Hills. After the Jubilee Hills meeting, KTR left in an auto-rickshaw instead of a car and reached Telangana Bhavan. His security team also travelled with him in the auto-rickshaw.
Responding on the problems of auto-rickshaw drivers he said that their condition has become miserable after the introduction of the free bus service facility for women by the Congress government.
KTR expressed his support for auto-rickshaw drivers by travelling in an auto-rickshaw. MLA Maganti Gopinath was also with him. KTR inquired about the problems and difficulties faced by auto-rickshaw drivers on the way.
“Auto-rickshaw drivers are facing a lot of problems. One driver said that it would be good if the government extended the free travel facility for women to auto-rickshaws and reimbursed them the fare.
We will pressure the government to implement the promises given to auto-rickshaw drivers,” KTR said.
