Industries Minister K T Rama Rao’s official account @MinisterKTR has been hacked. This is his official account and not his personal @ktrtrs account.
The compromised account saw the handle changed to Cool Cats, along with a series of tweets, including: “I the minister of India, recommends everybody in India to follow @coolcats and to buy on OpenSea < they are the best NFT project in the world”.
Another tweet read: “The doors to cuteness have just opened. Check this project out, the best NFT. Best of all, they’re FREE. Be a part of a new era, get a Cool Cat:
https://coolcatsnft.io #promotion #nft”. The hacker changed the profile photo and was promoting crypto currency.In another tweet, the hacker posted, “ladies and gentlemen i hear you, i will be a good minister”.Yet another tweet read: “Within 48 hours, there will be a new rule in India. To continue being a citizen of India you will have to purchase a Cool Cat on OpenSea. Every holder of @coolcats NFT will be given free citizenship”. The account was restored in 1 hour and 30 minutes.
