The Little Flower Junior College (LFJC), Uppal, founded by the Montfort Brothers of St Gabriel, is celebrating its 50 years of excellence.
In preparation for the golden jubilee, LFJC has held gatherings with alumni, former principals and dedicated staff to honour its legacy. On Sunday, a poster was officially released beginning the golden jubilee festivities. LFJC Principal Rev. Bro. Arun Prakash, former Principal Rev. Bro. Dr John Kallarackal, and notable alumni attended the event.
Rev. Bro. Arun Prakash announced that LFJC started in July 1974 as an extension of Little Flower High School. Due to its fast growth, it moved to its own campus in Uppal in 1982. He noted that the main golden jubilee celebration will take place on December 13, 2024, at the Uppal campus.

Rev. Bro. Arun Prakash also emphasised LFJC’s impact, stating, “Our alumni’s achievements in Medicine, Engineering, Arts, Administration, Sports, Cinema, and Politics showcase LFJC’s commitment to excellence and nation-building.”
