Loan waiver for all eligible by August-end: Harish Rao

At one time, it was difficult to find work, but nowadays people are not able to find workers to get things done, said Minister for Health T Harish Rao. It showed that the State made rapid progress in development in the last nine years.

Speaking after laying the foundation stone for the Rytu Vedika and community hall of Budaga Jagam community at Ibrahim Nagar in Chinna Kodur manda of the district here on Sunday, Harish Rao said that the loan waiver would be implemented by August-end as promised by the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar.

The Chief Minister did not allow the Centre to fix meters to agricultural pump sets. He appealed to the farmers to strengthen the hands of the Chief Minister to ensure that welfare schemes and developmental activities are implemented.

The Minister took part in a series of foundation-stone laying ceremonies in the mandal, including the construction of a panchayat building, Mahila Mandali Bhavan and drainage development works.

Earlier, he planted saplings in the four-acre oil palm fields of PACS chairman Mulkala Kanakaraju.

The VAOs of Ibrahim Nagar donated Rs 1,016 to the BRS.
Later, the Minister distributed Stree Nidhi cheques to the SHG women.

Every farmer feels reassured under the BRS regime and faced no problems, said Harish Rao.

He offered support to the farmers if they come forward to cultivate oil palm.

He said that he is sanctioning the necessary works as sought by the people. Village sarpanch Subhash, Mandal MPP Manik Reddy and other elected people’s representatives were present.
