People from across the State are attending the Praja Darbar programme organised by Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, originally intended for the people of Mangalagiri. Attendees gather in the morning to directly present their issues to Lokesh. Due to the overwhelming response, MLAs of the ruling party are planning to hold similar programmes in their respective Assembly segments.
Lokesh, after giving a patient hearing to everyone, promptly forwarded the appeals made by the people to the concerned officials for necessary action. On Saturday, Lokesh received numerous appeals from people across the state regarding their lands being illegally and forcibly occupied by local YSRCP leaders when the party was in power.
Affected individuals personally explained to Lokesh how their lands were taken by local YSRCP leaders. Sambasiva Rao from Errabalem in Mangalagiri mandal informed Lokesh that his 16.5 cents of land were grabbed by Chavali Ullaiah and appealed to Lokesh to take steps to reclaim his land.
Kurava Mardiah, an elderly man from Loddipalli in Orvakallu mandal of Kurnool district, explained that the land, which is his family’s main source of income.
