Lokesh kickstarts ‘Yuva Galam’

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Friday launched the 4,000 km-long marathon ‘padayatra’ ‘Yuva Galam’ at 11.03 am accompanied by party leaders and activists in large numbers. Lokesh offered special ‘pujas’ at the temple of Lord Varadaraja Swamy in Kuppam and also offered prayers at the local churches and masjids. He took the blessings of the elders.

The party functionaries showered flowers on Lokesh wishing him all the best in his endeavour. TDP MLA from Hindpur Balakrishna, State president Atchannaidu, party politburo members, and thousands of party workers walked along Lokesh.

Women activists gave a grand welcome to Lokesh and the locals of Kuppam raised slogans like ‘Chandranna Bidda (Son of Chandrababu) zindabad’. The Kuppam citizens expressed their complete solidarity with Lokesh and wished him a grand success.

He visited Mecca Masjid at Lakshmipuram and later Hebrass House of Worship Church at Bapunagar where he offered prayers and took the blessings of the community elders.
