Lulu explores investmentsin Vizag, V’wada & Tirupati

Lulu Group International Chairman MA Yusuf Ali met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday at the CM’s residence in Undavalli. The meeting lasted about two hours, focusing on investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh. They discussed plans to build a mall and multiplex in Visakhapatnam, as well as a hypermarket and multiplex in Vijayawada and Tirupati.
The Lulu Group has also expressed interest in investing in the food processing industry in the state. Previously, during the tenure of the Telugu Desam government, the Lulu Group had agreed with the state to invest in Visakhapatnam. However, the company withdrew its plans due to changes in the government. With Naidu returning as Chief Minister, the globally renowned Lulu Group is once again keen on investing in the state. The Chairman was accompanied by his team for the meeting.
During discussions, the Chief Minister addressed various issues related to investments, emphasising the government’s commitment to facilitating ease and speed of doing business. He expressed his satisfaction over the Lulu Group’s renewed interest in investing in Andhra Pradesh. Naidu noted that the entry of prominent companies like Lulu Group would stimulate further interest in investments among industrialists, which would ultimately benefit the state.  He elaborated on the new policies aimed at promoting investment.
