MAA revokessuspension on Hema

Lately, there have been reports stating that the Movie Artists Association (MAA) revoked the suspension of actress Hema.
According to the latest update by the association, MAA has lifted the suspension from the actress.
“The Executive Committee of the Movie Artiste Association (MAA) convened to discuss your (Hema) suspension. After careful deliberation, President Vishnu Manchu proposed that your suspension be lifted and the committee unanimously agreed to proceed with his recommendation. I am glad to inform you that, effective immediately, your suspension is hereby revoked,” read the statement by the association.
Benguluru police had arrested Hema at a rave party on the outskirts of Benguluru. Following this, Hema was banned from the Movie Artists Association due to allegations of drug consumption. But the actress denied taking drugs and urged the association not to take any decision considering the media reports. She did meet MAA president Manchu Vishnu and give a letter to cancel her suspension from MAA. She had also stated getting her tests done in Hyderabad’s highest-quality laboratories and is ready to take the test again if anyone suggests any
laboratory.
