Sirikonda Madhusudna Chary, a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC), has been recognised as the Leader of the Opposition in the Telangana Legislative Council.
The appointment, which came into effect on September 11, 2024, was notified by the Telangana Legislature Secretariat.
The official notification, signed by Dr V. Narasimha Charyulu, the Secretary of the State Legislature, said that the Chairman of the Telangana Legislative Council has acknowledged Sirikonda’s role as the Leader of the Opposition from the specified date. This recognition has been published in an extraordinary issue of the Telangana Gazette, highlighting its significance for the legislative procedures of the state.
The notification directed the Commissioner of the Government Printing Press, Hyderabad, to ensure the publication of this announcement in the Telangana Gazette and to supply its copies to all departments.
