TTD is organising the Ankurarpanam fete on Saturday for the Maha Samprokshana ritual slated on June 8 in the newly-built Sri Venkateswara Temple at Majin Village of Jammu. The temple provides a divine ambience to devotees proceeding towards the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage.
On June 4, the Vaidika programmes of Panchagavya Vasana, Vastu Homam, Akalmasha Prayaschitta Homam and Raksha Bandhanam will be performed in the morning, followed by Agni Pratista, Kumbhasthapana, Kumbharadhana and Vishesh Homam in the evening.
On June 5, Akshinmochana, Nava Kalasa Snapana, Panchagavyadhivasam and evening rituals will be held in the yagashala.
On June 6, the programmes include Navakalasa Snapanam, Ksheeradhivasam and Yagashala rituals in the evening.
Jaladhivasam, Ratnanyasam, Dhatuvasam, Vimana Kalasa Sthapana and Bimba Sthapana will be conducted on June 7. In the evening, Maha Shanti Tirumanjanam will be performed followed by Sayanadivasam events.
On the final day, June 8, the celestial Maha Samprokshana fête will be held in the auspicious Mithuna lagnam between 7.30am and 8.15 am.
The temple will be open for darshan for devotees from 9.30 am onwards and in the evening a grand Srivari Kalyanotsavam will be performed.
TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy, EO AV Dharma Reddy, several local public representatives and a large number of devotees are expected to participate in the rituals.
