The Director General of Police, Dr Jitender, issued transfer and posting orders to 77 Deputy Superintendents of Police (Civil) on Monday. The reshuffle, recommended by the Police Establishment Board, affects many posts in Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Rachakonda and several other district units.
N. Venkata Swamy, the ACP CCS of Ramagundam, has been transferred as SDPO Jagtial, while D. Raghuchander moves from Jagtial to Intelligence. P. Naresh Reddy, who was serving in Intelligence, has been posted as ACP Balanagar, Cyberabad.
The reshuffle includes multiple shifts within the Hyderabad City Police. Ch. Sreekanth, earlier the ACP of Madhapur, has now been posted as ACP Chikkadpally, while his post has been taken over by Ch. Sreedhar from Intelligence.
L. Ramesh Kumar (ACP Chikkadpally), Md. Ghouse (ACP Santoshnagar), and many others have been asked to report to the DGP’s office.
In Cyberabad limits, V. Srikanth Goud has been transferred to Shamshabad, Ch. Shankar Reddy to Medchal, and B. Srinivas Reddy relieved for headquarters duties. T. Sukhdev Singh will now serve as ACP Santoshnagar, replacing Md. Ghouse.
Other notable moves are Mothe Ravinder Reddy to Siddipet, V. Narsimha Reddy to Mamnoor in Warangal, and S. Saidaiah to Mahankali in Hyderabad City. Sardar Singh has been relieved from Mahankali and has to report to the DGP.
In the Warangal region, G. Ram Mohan Reddy has been replaced at Kataram by B. Narayana, while new appointments have been made in Narsampet, Hanamkonda, and Kazipet.
In Sangareddy, Parigi, Suryapet, Nalgonda, Karimnagar, Khammam and Vikarabad, SDPO and ACP-level changes are expected to revamp regional policing.
The police headquarters has directed all unit officers to relieve the transferred officers immediately and ensure that they take charge at their new posts.
