Lyca Productions has announced its upcoming film Lockdown, starring Anupama Parameswaran in the lead role. Along with announcing the film, the makers also released the first look poster for the actress in the film. The poster supposedly signifies the film being a real-life story.
The film has been written and directed by AR Jeeva. Lockdown has music by N.R. Ravananthan and Siddhsarth Vipin. K. A. Sakthivel is the DOP.
Due to her participation in the successful movie Tillu Square, Anupama appears to have more opportunities to pursue content-focused ventures.
She is moving away from strictly commercial endeavours with her next films, Octopus, Paradha, and the untitled AR Jeeva production. All three are touted as dramas with strong female leads!
Anupama’s focus on starring in these movies implies that she made the decision to show strong, independent women.
Meanwhile, Anupama’s next with Dhruv Vikram, directed by Mari Selvaraj, has also got its official title—Bison Kaalamaadan. The sports drama’s title announcement and the film’s launch took place in Chennai on Monday, sparking excitement among fans and followers.
