Mandal Parishad school teacher held for sexual assault of six girl students

A teacher working in Mandal Parishad School at Gundala village in Yadadri Bhuvangiri district was held under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) on Monday.
Bringing shame to the profession, a teacher allegedly sexually assaulted six minor girls who are of the age of his granddaughters. The assault had continued for over a year and the incident came to light after one of the victims became indisposed.
The teacher who is supposed to educate children displayed his animal instincts.
According to reports, Andem Madhava Reddy who has been working as a teacher in Mandal Parishad School in Gundala lured the girls of class-3 by offering them chocolates and money. He allegedly used to misbehave with the girls. He used to touch them inappropriately.
Recently, one of the girls took ill. She related to her parents the incident. The teacher threatened her and other victims to thrash them and kill them if they happened to reveal his shameful behaviour.
On learning about the disgusting behaviour of the teacher from their wards, an irate group of parents went to the school to teach him a lesson, but the teacher fled the place. The parents went to the police station along with their wards and sought justice for them. They demanded action against the teacher.
