BRS president Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is concentrating on expanding his party’s network across the nation.
As part of it, KCR organised a public meeting on February 6 at Nanded in Maharashtra. On February 26, that is Sunday, KCR appointed Manik Kadam as the President of the BRS Kisan Cell (Bharat Rashtra Kisan Samithi) in Maharashtra.
KCR released a statement in this regard on Sunday. Manik Kadam belongs to Parbani in Maharashtra.
It may be recalled that KCR appointed National Rythu Sangham leader Gurnam Singh as the Bharat Rashtra Kisan Samiti’s president. The BRS is moving forward with the slogan ‘Ab Ki Baar Kisan Sarkar.’
In fact, BRS MLC Kavitha visited Mumbai on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Kavitha said the BRS will become a part of the development of Maharashtra. She said that BRS leaders would work hard for the people of Maharashtra.
Power Minister Guntakandla Jagdeesh Reddy said that the future belongs to the BRS. The confidence of KCR has been increasing and the entire nation is “now looking towards Telangana.” The people of states bordering Telangana are demanding to merge their areas in Telangana as the state has been implementing many social welfare schemes, he said.
Inducting All India Muslim Reservations Porata Committee President MD Khaled Ahmed into the BRS on Sunday, Jagdeesh said that even people in Karnataka’s border areas which has a double engine government of the BJP is demanding to merge their areas in Telangana.
