Director Ohmkar, who impressed the audience with his horror comedy franchise Raju Gari Gadhi, is coming up with a new horror web series titled Mansion 24. The series is exclusively created for Disney Plus Hotstar. The character posters raised curiosity among the audience. Mansion 24 stars Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar, Avika Gor, Bindu Madhavi, Nandu, Manas, Ayyappa P. Sharma, Rao Ramesh and others in key roles.
Mansion 24 trailer launch event was held in Hyderabad, which was graced by director Anil Ravipudi participated as a guest in this program.
On the occasion, Director Anil Ravipudi said, “Trailer of Mansion 24 looks very very promising. Good technicians and artists have created this quality series and I know many of them. Varalaxmi garu played the lead role. She is doing characters with variations in every movie like Naandhi, Krack, Veerasimha Reddy and I think she can be called as Lady SVR. I know Ohmkar from Pataas time. With Mansion 24 series, he is making an OTT entry and I wish him a blockbuster entry. Ashwin is my good friend. Ohmkar should continue doing the film’s too. Also, I want to make a family entertainer with the connection between your brothers.”
Music director Vikas Badisa said, “Working for the series Mansion 24 gave a new experience. Western, classical, rustic, I got the opportunity to do all genres of music with this one series. It should be said that it is a multi genre web series. Thanks to director Ohmkar for giving me the opportunity to work for Mansion 24.”
Meanwhile, director Omkar expressing his gratitude to director Anil gracing the event said, “I met him during the movie Pataas. Since then, he has become a star director after getting back to back blockbusters. No matter how much he has grown up, he has been attending and promoting to small movies and series. I wish that Bhagavanth Kesari to become a big hit. There is an impression among the audience that a web series is more of a TV program and less of a movie. But now the trend is changing. OTT reach has increased within few days. In such a right time, I think I am entering OTT with Mansion 24 web series.”
During the event, the makers also revealed that they used to begin shooting at 6 in the morning, and completed the shoot in the next couple of days. “My strength is my younger brothers Kalyan and Ashwin. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be on this stage. Also thanks to all my direction department and other team members. The six episodes of Mansion 24 are interesting enough to binge watch. Each episode ends with a hook point. The whole family can watch it together. In covid time I focused on TV programs. If not for covid, I would have done another film and explore myself in other genres. The new film that I am going to do, is going to be something like that and it will not be in horror genre.”
