Must read

PNS|Nirmal

Minister for Forest A Indrakaran Reddy on Wednesday persuaded the farmers, who were on the warpath against the master plan released by Nirmal Municipality, to end their protest. He assured them that the government would take into consideration their concerns and amend the master plan to ensure that no injustice is done to them. He offered lime juice to the farmers to end the protest.

The Minister made it very clear that the government would never take any decision that would harm the interests of farmers. He appealed to the farmers and people not to fall prey to misinformation being spread by the opposition parties.
Indrakaran Reddy even said that he would quit politics if the Opposition proved that he had grabbed 260 acres of land. He accused the opposition of making baseless allegations.

It may be recalled that the farmers protested over the master plan because of the fear that their lands may be acquired by the government in the name of developmental activities.
