BJP MP from Karimnagar and BJP national general secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar demanded that the Congress government initiate action against BRS Rajya Sabha member Joginipally Santhosh Kumar and the family members of former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for taking the package of Mid-Manair project submergence though they were not eligible.
Sanjay Kumar addressed a letter to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy in this regard on Monday. In his letter, Sanjay said that it is appreciable that the government mentioned about the problems of the victims of Mid-Manair submergence. He demanded that the government convene a meeting with the Minister concerned, local public representatives and officials in this regard.
He appealed to the Congress government to provide democratic rule in tune with the aspirations of the people as Telangana, which was formed on the basis of sacrifices of Telangana youth. He demanded that the government pay Rs 5.04 lakh per every house construction to the victims of Mid-Manair project. Sanjay appealed to the government to set up an industrial corridor from Nilojipally to Nandigama, Agraharam besides setting up a Skill Development College.
