YSRCP MP P V Midhun Reddy criticized the TDP Coalition Government and a section of the media for spreading false propaganda and making baseless allegations against him, particularly concerning the Madanapalle files issue.
Speaking to the media at the party’s central office at Tadepalli on Wednesday, the MP stated that despite requests for evidence, nobody has come forward with any substantial proof to support the claims of his involvement in the fire incident at the Madanapalle Sub-Collector office.
Confirming that legal action has been initiated against those responsible for the false propaganda, he noted that the campaign against him has only intensified, with more fabricated stories being spread. This malicious targeting, he said, is causing significant mental harassment.
The MP described the Margadarsi Scam as the largest in the country and assured that this issue would be brought to the forefront in Parliament for discussion. He also stated his intention to consult with key political figures, such as Undavalli Arun Kumar, to determine the appropriate course of action regarding this scam.
He further expressed concerns about the deteriorating law and order situation in the state, citing incidents in Punganur and Angallu where public violence was incited, leading to severe consequences, including an incident where a constable lost his eye.
In the Punganur constituency, homes are being demolished, and hundreds of false cases have been filed against individuals, he added.
He affirmed that he and his supporters would continue to fight all these injustices legally and ensure that the truth prevails.
